**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Receptionist to join our private practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional administrative support and customer service to patients and medical staff.

**Duties:**

- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner

- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries

- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-payments

- Maintain electronic medical records and ensure accuracy of patient data

- Coordinate with medical staff to assist in patient flow and appointment scheduling

- Follow HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality

- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed

**Skills:**

- Proficiency in medical office systems and software

- Experience in medical administrative support or related field

- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail

- Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and ER protocols

- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and compliance

- Previous experience in a podiatric office is a plus

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction at the front desk

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.96 - $20.60 per hour
